SAN FRANCISCO, CA–(October 11, 2021)– Avatour, the remote collaboration platform for site meetings, today announced a reseller agreement with IoT service provider Mobile Innovation Co., Ltd., a joint venture between NTT DOCOMO and Thailand-based IT company, Loxley. This is the first step in expanding the partnership between Avatour and NTT DOCOMO announced last month.
As part of the agreement, Mobile Innovation Co., Ltd. will have reseller rights for Avatour’s remote collaboration technology across Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. This marks Avatour’s increased presence in Southeast Asia, and new opportunities for remote collaboration in Thailand, and the expansion of Avatour’s partnership with the NTT DOCOMO Group.
Mobile Innovation Co., Ltd. is paving the way for wider and more integrated applications of emerging telecommunication technology in the region. “As for corporate sales, there are ongoing discussions over the possibility to use Avatour’s tools in Southeast Asia where manufacturing and construction businesses are rapidly growing, and verification is scheduled to be conducted, aiming to globally deploy the solutions,” said Akira Sekine, president of Mobile Innovation Co., Ltd.
